Pen Device:
This insulin delivery pen has been designed for patients with diabetes to self-administer insulin conveniently. It functions much like a pen, featuring a push, twist, and lock system for easy cartridge loading. Users can inject insulin, adjust dosages, and change cartridges quickly and efficiently. The pen can deliver insulin in doses ranging from 1 to 60 units using a 3 mL cartridge. If the dose is set too high, you can easily correct it without wasting insulin.
Pen Needle:
- 4 mm needles are designed to reduce the risk of intramuscular injections compared to the longer 6 mm needles.
- The unique needle design helps prevent bending or breaking.
- The 4 mm length is appropriate for subcutaneous injections, suitable for all body types (regardless of BMI).
- This needle is compatible with most insulin pens, simplifying usage for patients.

Pen Preparation / Cartridge Change:
- Remove the pen cap.
- Turn the cartridge sleeve to remove it.
- Remove the empty cartridge if one is already in place.
- Insert the new cartridge into the sleeve.
- Push the threaded rod completely back.
- Attach the cartridge sleeve by twisting it back onto the pen housing.
Attaching the Pen Needle:
- Peel off the foil from the needle packaging.
- Twist the pen needle onto the cartridge sleeve.
- Check to ensure the needle is attached securely.
- Remove the outer needle protective cap and set it aside (for safe disposal after use).
- Remove the inner needle protective cap.
Priming / Function Check:
- Dial a test dose by turning the dosage knob clockwise (set no less than 2 units).
- Hold the pen pointing upwards and tap gently to allow any air bubbles to rise to the top of the cartridge.
- Press the push button and ensure a few drops of insulin emerge from the needle tip.
✔️ After Injection:
- Remove the pen needle carefully.
- Attach the outer needle protective cap to the needle and twist it off.
- Dispose of the used needle properly, according to your healthcare provider's instructions.

✔️ Storage Conditions:
- Store and handle the pen and cartridges according to the instructions provided with the device.
- After each use, replace the pen cap and store the pen in the pen pouch, ensuring that no needle is attached.
- Keep the pen at room temperature (below or equal to 30°C).
- Protect the pen from moisture, dust, and water.
- Clean the pen using a damp cloth—do not use alcohol or cleaning solvents, and never immerse the pen in water, as this could cause damage to the device.
